Kantersieg der ersten Mannschaft gegen Peine

Verbandsliga Ost 22/23 ESV 1 – Peine 1
Verbandsliga Ost 22/23 ESV 1 – Peine 1

7...f5 This is a critical move. I decided to play it, because the white pieces are so misplaced, that I feel like opening up the position can be good for me. However, it is unclear. If he does not take, I can play Nf6, which is really nice for the development. 8.d3 Nf6
9.Bg5N Vorgänger: 9.Nh4 fxe4 10.dxe4 0-0 11.0-0 a6 12.Nc4 Bg4 13.Qd3 b5 14.Ne3 Be6 15.Rd1 Ng4 16.Nhf5 Nxe3 17.Bxe3 d5 18.Nxe7+ Qxe7 19.exd5 1-0 Lagarde,M (2501)-Smilga,A (2069) Rohde op 12th Sautron 2012 (1) 9...0-0 10.0-0-0 I was a bit surprised by this, I felt like this is a very risky move. It makes playing d4 much more difficult, which should be the main plan for white. Qa5 10...Rb8 he computer does not like Qa5 at all. 11.Bxf6 Rxf6 11...Bxf6 12.Nc4 Qxa2 13.Nxd6 unclear, and probably unnecessary risky, because I felt like my position was better. Be6 Actually, I misread the position, this is all really good for black here. 12.Nd2 12.exf5 Rxf5 This must be better than what was played in the match for white, just because the bishop is not dead. 12...f4 13.Ndc4 Qd8 13...Qa6 14.gxf4 Rxf4 15.Ne3 It is a difficult question whether the queen is better on d8 or on a6, my feeling was that it was too passive here. Computer disagrees. 14.gxf4 Rxf4 15.Ne3 Qf8 16.f3 I think this was a mistake. I feel like Rdf1 is more precise, because the Bg2 still protects d5. Be6 17.Nd5 Bxd5 18.exd5 Bg5 19.Kb1 Ne7 20.Bh3 Ng6 20...Rxf3 21.Rdf1 Rxf1+ 22.Rxf1 Bf4 23.Nb5 I felt like this position would be too passive, which was why I decided not to take the pawn, yet. 21.Rhg1 Bh6 22.Nb5 Qe7 23.Be6+ Kh8 24.c4 Not sure about this plan, it is quite obvious because of the knight route, but I it also gives me space and squares. Rh4 25.Bg4 Nf4 26.Qe1 Bg5 26...Rxh2 27.Qg3 Rh4 28.Nxd6 Ne2 29.Nf5 Nxg3 30.Nxe7 Seems good for white. 27.Nc3 Rxh2 28.Rh1 Rxh1 29.Qxh1 Rf8 30.Ne4 Ne2 30...g6 might also be an option, but it is a bit risky, in my opinion. 31.Qg2 31.Qh5 Bh6 32.Rh1 Nd4 31...Nd4 32.Rh1 a6 33.Rh5 Bh6 34.Qh1 b5 35.Rxh6 gxh6 36.Qxh6 bxc4 37.dxc4 Rd8 38.Ng5 Qg7 38...Rg8 39.Nxh7 Qxh7+ Fun fact, in the game I chose not to play this line, because I thought it would be draw with Qf6 because of perpetual. I am blind :D 39.Qh5 Rf8 39...Qg6+ 40.Qxg6 hxg6 41.Nf7+ Actually a valid trick for time trouble period, sometimes you win a game with this shit :D 40.Be6 Nxe6 40...h6 Would have been much easier :D 41.dxe6 Qg6+ 42.Qxg6 hxg6 43.Kc2 43.e7 Re8 44.Nf7+ Kg7 45.Nxd6 Rxe7 46.Ne4 Rf7 46...Rc7 Actually also hard to play for black, because white has a bit of a fortress, and all black pawns are shit. 47.Nxc5 Rxf3 48.Nxa6 Interesting position, which I evaluated as won for black, but it is tricky. 43...Kg7 44.Ne4 Rf4 44...Rxf3 45.e7 Kf7 46.Ng5+ hehe. 45.Nxd6 Kf6 46.Ne4+ I think I spent >20 minutes on my next move, it is a nice calculation exercize: can black play Rxe4? Rxe4 47.fxe4 Kxe6 48.Kd3 g5 49.Ke3 g4 50.Kf2 Kf6 51.Kg3 Kg5 52.b4 52.a3 This is the far more interesting line than what came in the match. a5 53.b4 axb4 54.axb4 cxb4 55.c5 b3 56.c6 b2 57.c7 b1Q 58.c8Q Qd3+ 59.Kf2 Qf3+ 59...Qd2+ 60.Kg3 Qe3+ 61.Kh2 Qe2+ 62.Kg3 Qf3+ 63.Kh2 Qf2+ 64.Kh1 Kf4 65.Qxg4+= 60.Ke1 Kf4 61.Qe6 Qh1+ 62.Ke2 Qh2+ 63.Kd1 Qg1+ 64.Ke2 Qe3+ 65.Kf1 Kf3 66.Qf7+ Kg3 This is the stuff that I calculated in the match in move 46, and I evaluated this as won for me. 52...cxb4 53.c5 Kf6 54.Kxg4 Ke6 55.c6 a5 56.c7 Kd7 57.Kf5 a4 58.Kxe5 b3 59.axb3 a3 60.Kd5 a2 61.e5 a1Q Not a perfect game by me, but honestly, it was really complicated to play. I feel like overall I did a good job, I think I am quite happy, even though not perfectly happy with it. Biggest weakness and strength in the match was both calculation :D I personally think I cannot take too much for the future from this game, as there were no clear weaknesses to work on or aspects to consider. It’s fine.
